About J&N Construction
A family-run building contractor with deep roots in Dorset, built on years of hands-on experience in carpentry and construction.
Our Story
How It All Started
J&N Construction was founded by Josh Courtney, who spent over 15 years developing his skills and experience as a carpenter. Starting his career in carpentry, Josh built a strong reputation for quality workmanship, attention to detail and a commitment to getting every job done properly. These values remain at the heart of everything we do today.
From the early days of JC Carpentry & Construction, the business continued to grow as clients returned and recommended us for larger projects, including extentions, loft conversions and renovations. This growth led to the establishment of J&N Construction, allowing us to offer a wide range of building services while maintaining the same high standards of workmanship, attention to detail and personal approach that our business was built on.
Today we work with homeowners, developers, and businesses across Dorset, managing projects from the initial quote right through to completion. We understand that building work is a significant investment, which is why we take pride in providing a reliable, professional and personal service. Every project matters to us, and we treat your home with the same care and respect as we would our own.
